Jane Ward

​​​​​​​Senior Fitness Coach

Jane graduated with a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science, majoring in prescription and training, and has been in the health and fitness industry since 2016. Jane enjoys working with clients to help them achieve their fitness and nutritional goals through motivating, supporting, and sharing her knowledge with them.

Jane comes from a strong background in the sporting industry, particularly in netball, running, and she competes nationally in equestrian.An area of interest for her is exercise and nutrition for weight loss.

Roy Haffner

Fitness Coach | Strength & Conditioning Coach

After finishing a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport and Exercise Science, Roy found himself wanting real experience working with people and expanding his knowledge. Originally from the South Island, Roy’s passion for performance, rehabilitation, and well-being brought him to Hawke’s bay.

Roy is a huge sports fan, mainly American Football and Rugby League which fuels his interest in Strength and Conditioning.

Lance Bridges

Fitness Coach | AquaFit Instructor

Lance has been involved in the fitness industry since the age of 18, teaching aerobics, aqua jogging and as a fitness trainer.

Lance has been trained with Les Mills Hamilton and worked in various fitness places around the country, this has enabled him to share his passion with fitness and motivating people.

“I love helping people achieve their goals.  My passion for aerobics took me around the world, representing New Zealand in competitive aerobics for 10 years.  I have also represented New Zealand in competitive roller skating. My other interests include coaching gymnastics and theatre when time allows."

Largo Fuertes

Fitness Coach | Olympic Weightlifting Coach

Largo has completed formal training in nutrition, personal training, coaching, and physical training for high performance in France. After relocating to New Zealand, he gained his Diploma in Sport & Therapeutic Massage at EIT to integrate bodywork knowledge into his strength coaching.

Largo adapts his strength coaching for youth and adults from diverse sporting backgrounds. Largo firmly believes that if something is not working, adapt until it does, and every experience will teach the coach as much as the athlete.

Kiah McCorkindale

Fitness Coach

Kiah is from Wairoa but has been living in Napier for the past 8 years including her high school
years as a boarder at NGHS. Coming from a small community Kiah quickly jumped at every opportunity that was given and was heavily interested in all things health and fitness, especially sports. Kiah has participated in many sports but has a love for netball and plays in the Super 8 competition. Her interest quickly developed into a passion
which she is now able to pursue after completing her Certificate in Personal Training through Fit
Futures Academy in November 2022. During her studies she was able to complete work experience at EIT Institute of Sport & Health. Kiah is eager to get hands on and take the next step into her fitness career to empower and help others make
good choices to a healthier happier lifestyle.

Zack Matthews

Fitness Coach

Zack’s heavy involvement in sport from a young age lead to an interest in all things training, movement and nutrition. This evolved into a passion to share his knowledge with others to help them achieve their own goals. 

 After attending high school in Hawkes bay, He moved to Dunedin to study at the University of Otago where he completed a bachelors of sport and exercise nutrition, and has now returned for his final year of physiotherapy studies.

Zack has a particular interest in the game of basketball, whether it’s watching, playing or coaching. 

Ashlee Rowe

Fitness Coach | Associate Strength & Conditioning Coach

Ashlee started her Sport Science studies at the University of Western Australia while living in Perth. During her studies she also pursued an athletic career in rowing. After years of training and competing at a NZL level, she finished her degree and graduated through Wintec at the end of 2021. Ashlee moved to Hawkes Bay after seven years based in Cambridge for her rowing career.

Logan Gee

Fitness Coach

Logan is currently studying towards a Bachelor of Sport and Science at the Eastern Institute of Technology in his hometown, Napier.  Sport has always been a big part of Logan's life, he is heavily involved in hockey and has played other sports such as rugby and cricket.  This involvement has lead to a passion in training and coaching, specifically promoting participation and enjoyment in sport and exercise.
