ENHANCE MENTAL WELL BEING
We believe training as part of a group of athletes from different backgrounds and sports will create a fun, new training environment for the athletes. Interacting with different athletes who have the shared goal to get better will not only challenge their athletic development to progress quicker but it will also help to build social skills and build relationships with others that they might not normally have a chance to.
LEARNING TO TRAIN
Learning how to train correctly at this age is key to future success in sport. Under the guidance of our qualified S&C coaches, athletes will not only be taught correct exercise technique but also be shown practically how best to prepare themselves for their sport by learning how to warm up effectively.
INJURY MANAGEMENT
Athletes will learn and perform exercises that will help them to be more robust and less vulnerable to injuries, meaning they will get more time on the sports court/field.
ENHANCE SPORTS PERFORMANCE
Athletes will be given the opportunity to develop physical characteristics such as strength, power and endurance which will give them the confidence to express their athletic ability in their chosen sport.
EDUCATION
Athletes will have the opportunity to attend 'Mini Workshops' designed to provide information that will help athletes make informed decisions on subjects such as nutrition, warming up, planning training and recovery.
DEVELOPING SUCCESS CHARACTERISTICS
Athletes will be exposed to challenges and task that will develop Developing soft skills such as team work, communication, leadership & mental resilience.
8-10 years old: Monday 3.45pm
11-13 year old : Thursday 3.45pm
